Give of yourself in everything you do. To do, but not do with all of yourself, discredits the task being done. Each thing you do is equally as important as the next, as the one before. Your task deserves all of you embedded, saturated in it. To do unconsciously misses the point of doing. All parts of you should be involved; mind, soul and body. Your mind is a part of your body, although it would disagree. Your mind wants to be somewhere outside of where you are now, what you are doing now. It wants to be somewhere else always, because there is power in presence and your body and soul know this. To be present is to live the life you have now, at this very moment. Not yesterday and not tomorrow. There are times and places for thoughts of past and future, but it is not right now, it is not every waking moment. Now is what there is. It is what is in front of you at this moment. There will be nothing like it ever again.

It is a sacred moment. A mundane sacred moment.

All of life is a series of sacred moments. Our bodies know this. They long to bow down to the sacredness of life, to walk the path that they are on, to run through the sacredness that already is. Our souls are the watchers, the guardians of us. They are the doorway, the in-between. Part earth and part celestial Divine. The mind is earth based only, the saboteur, the naysayer, but also able to be focused and quieted. To be present is to align the body and the soul and the mind. To join them as one. To open the door to what lies outside of us. To bring ourselves home.
